DIY; Making a dreamcatcher

A couple of days ago I found an picture of a dreamcatcher on Pinterest. First I thought a dreamcatcher always needs to have a lot of feathers and beads. And in my opinion dreamcatchers always looks the same. But when I saw this picture I was really inspired to make a dreamcatcher like this.

I collected some ribbons, leather strings, feathers, beads, lace, pearls, flowers and many other things you like. I ordered a lot of these things at the website www.kralenkiosk.nl . You also need a wooden or plastic ring and some embroidery thread.

I searched on Google for some websites which told me how I can make a dreamcatcher. I found this website;  http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Dreamcatcher  and it has little movies which show exactly every step you need to make. At the next photos you see my results. This project is not easy, when you want to make this with children they really need some help.

Level of difficulty; ***
Children definetely need some help, it will cost you a lot of time to make a dreamcatcher. Especially to cover the circle with thread and to make the thread star in the middle of the circle.

Have fun! Sleep well and have some nice dreams :)!
